And yet I just can't keep the 2 apart.
Even together in their sleep!
P.S. Happy Birthday to Harley this month. Year old puppies are much better than new puppies!
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Isaiah. 64:8
Don't those stomach bugs know the summer is for running in sprinklers and jumping out of trees? At least there was some popsicle eating going on, although less enjoyed than normal.
Can't it just stop at one victim?
At least it only seems to hit every other summer. Why is there no picture of N. feeling awful? He is on the couch with a fever as this is typed, none escape.
One great thing about summer storms is that it cools off a little but can still be 80* out.

It's almost a magnetic pull, the feeling that you have no choice but to run out and get soaked.
Even with the fear of the lightning and the super loud thunder and pounding rain it is worth it to go out, just temporarily.
...then everyday would be Fathers Day around here.
We are so blessed to have D. to love us and humor us.
Everyday with him is full of energy and motion.

Its hard to think back to who he was before all the kiddos were hanging around, literally, hanging.
He might think he is a big toughie, but we all know better. "We aint skered"
He keeps the kids so well in line, I'm not sure they even need a mommy.
| Someday, the kids will remember daddy and the flavor that will flood their senses will be P.B. Rice Crispy Treats, extra mallows. | |

Now the only challenge with kids who adore their adventurous daddy is trying to get them to think less actively and less creatively. Impossible though.
Although I am leaving a beautiful place, and memories, I know in my heart I am moving on to another beautiful place and even more memories. Bring it on.
Or so we thought. Turns out when you clean the patio it becomes a popular place for "last "parties.
T. waits impatiently for the homemade icecream."Now is it done? It will never be done!"
G.Gmas "secret garden" entrance
Uncle D. playing some ball with the kids
S. is mad that mom would rather take pictures of her and cousin S. than let her into the garden.
This summer party stuff is great, and lemon flavored. We will miss this Great Grandmas patio!
