Mutton

We headed down to Fountain Green again this year for Lamb Days.

Its a little town but packed with fun.

Camping out in the friends yard, BBQ, early morning cannon and sirens, quick parade, does celebrating get any better?

S. found the sidewalk chalk pretty but not so tasty.

N. was feeling sick and stayed in the tent trailer for the first part of the fun.

First camping trip in the trailer for the year, very exciting to wake up to.

The kids love the sweet, soft lambs.
Breakfast comes early but its hard to pass up
eating in the park.(oh, yeah, and easy for campers too)
"WERE GOING TO EAT WHAT?" Its not really lamb is it?!
Z. had a blast playing fetch with the retriever and T. even lost his fear for long enough to throw a ball or two.
The place we stay is an old awesome home with a tire swing, giant barn and even an old footed tub.S. had a few run ins with the gate meant to keep the dogs on the property, keeping babies in should have been a bonus.
Blocking off the highway for the parade used to be no biggie, now that there are more entrants its almost an hour and causes some traffic issues.

Wave to the princesses and get a bunch of candy!
Turns out you just need a vehicle and you automatically can enter the parade, Z. rode on a sweet ride for a memorable parade experience.
So much candy and otterpops are thrown the kids start to get choosy and leave the less loved candy on the street when their bags are filled. And finally......the reason we go to Fountain Green. Lamb Sandwiches. Daddy makes them to be served to the park goers. He loves it. Spending hours watching the kids play at the park makes for a ton of pictures but since this is the longest picture blog ever already they'll be skipped.Okay, just one park picture since its nostalgic of my childhood. N. on his back after being thrown from the merry go round. I dont really miss those days so much come to think of it.
