Easter celebrations

Traditional Easter Picnic and Egg Hunt with the Great Grandparents was held a week early. What a difference a week can make in outside temperatures!
 It snowed.
We had an indoor picnic.
Also for the cute lil' ones we had an indoor egg hunt.

Love this stuff! Thanks grandmaP for making it for us!

Older kids had to brave the snow.
By the time we stopped talking long enough to get the eggs hid it had warmed up a ton and most of the snow was gone.
Good thing, it was too easy to follow the footprints in the snow to find the eggs that were better hidden.

Actual Easter Sunday was warm and beautiful.
No coats, shorts in fact.
The kids love that they have so many sets of grandparents living so close to celebrate with.
More Grandmas means more Candy!
Grandparents M. have a great spot for egg hunting and other fun sports.
Pretty sure cousin L. didnt hide any over the 6ft. fence!?

Shiny!

They think everything is a contest.

L.O.L. new favorite saying

Colored fingers are fun too.

Nearly 40 eggs between them and its still not enough for these artists.

Springtime was a long time coming this year and it feels especially new and beautiful.
What a perfect time of year to gather with family and reflect on the Resurrection and Atonement of Christ.
