D. surprised me with a trailer full of sod for the back yard. Yay! But just so you know, I specifically asked for a fan light in the living room and did not ask to do really heavy, dirty, lifting for several hours!
So, really the sod is a Mom Day bonus. Because I did eventually get the fan light. And the sod looks so great instead of the weeds!
Hard workers! Heavy sod!
Z. is so creative. She decorated the living room with bright paper stuffs and made up a white board sign for all the kids to say what they love about mom.
S: "She has short hair like me"
"You have a great smile"
"I love you"
"You have prite (pretty) jlre (jewelry)"
(Thanks to her K teacher for that one. Craft necklaces will get you smiles at the store from strangers every time!)
N:"How she drives us places"
"Lets us buy a really expensive computer & not get mad"
T: " For making dinner"
Z: " How she buys presents for us"
"How she kisses us"
"How she buys us stuff"
"How she cooks for us"
(She should add "how she holds stuff for us." i.e. her sunglasses! And "how she lets me steal her favorite orange hat"!)
I am so in love with this family God is letting me practice on! They each teach me much more than I could ever hope to teach them. I am amazed by the overwhelming feelings of happiness I have been blessed with because of each of their spirits.
