July Campout/Merrill Reunion

We camped out at Jacobsons place in Idaho again this year. Its such a great place! We were happy to have the new trailer(although turning off the electronics at 7pm for 6 months to earn it was not always a happy time!)so we could all have space inside. Last year N. shared his tent with a giant spider!
The 3 big dogs out of 6(the other 3 are little)that joined the reunion loved to run after the 4 wheeler.
Harley over loved it. By day 3 she could hardly stand and couldn't walk.
The kids rode long boards and played games.
S.'s favorite spot. One or both of the footrest "Poofs".
None of our kids wanted to leave the 4 wheeler alone. They had to talk cousins into riding with them when mom and dad got tired of supervising. I love that we have grown up cousins that don't mind little kids harassing them to ride. What a wonderful family we have!
The greatest excitement of the trip was certainly the guns. Lots of guns and lots of ammo and lots of targets. Thanks to Uncle Bret for buying the double skeet launcher! It was a hit!
The back porch was transformed into a shooting range. It was difficult to go outside without ear protection. Well worth the noise for all the fun!
When the sun starts to set and its hard to shoot, pull out the next best thing right? Knife Throwing. Boys! They kept at it until it was so dark they kept loosing their knives.
Visiting cousins hotel room pool in Logan. Tall strong cousins are so much fun!
More cousins joined by the day. Logan was where we met up to see the Cache Valley Cruise In. Great tradition for a July weekend.
Watching the Cruise In Parade down Main Street. N. met up with his elementary buddies to hang out.
Donny and S. found a nice photo spot. On the street.
Back in Idaho. Family Picture time on Jacobson's beautiful land! Love all of these great people!
Had to get the dogs in there for some of the shots.
Another great thing about this spot in Idaho is the nearby Reservoir. It got too dark to get good picts of the kids. They jumped off the dock until it got chilly. Harley got caught up in the excitement and followed them onto the slippery dock. She fell in and finally found out she can swim. Not by choice though. She panicked and tried to get on Z.s back to save her! Silly Lab!
We can hardly wait to do it again next year.  Jacobsons might want to start stocking up that wall of sodas now:)
