Shaving cream and paint. Sounds messy. Yes, it is. And the kitchen has a semi permanent musk scent. Yuck! Kept them entertained for most of a Sunday though!
Clean out the closets and try to get rid of a toy or two that hasn't been played with for a long time. This castle set hadn't been put together in Years. I figured it was time to say goodbye. The kids have other plans. Now that its all in one piece its actually fun. Not going anywhere!
The front yard is starting to look like people actually live here(not ready to talk about the back, quite yet) and the decorative grass replacing the spider-filled box hedges are probably my favorite part since it grew so quick.
The rest of the plants didn't really like the transplanting and need another season or two to fill in. The exciting part is the grass barrier. Donny crafted it out of steel like the "Great Wall" out back. Its so much simpler to edge trim without all the rocks! Now if we can get the drip system set up( that'll get rid of the hideous tall white pipe) it should be low maintenance from here.
More babysitting skill practice. Cousins are great for that. Especially this sweet little guy.
Z. went to Clear Creek Outdoor Camp. Loved it! Never wanted to leave. Met a group of great new friends. *Thanks to the School District for the pictures sent home to curious parents*
